What is PoE Media Converter?

PoE media converters combine data and power on a single cable, allowing for copper to fiber connectivity while enabling Power over Ethernet to PoE certified devices including wireless access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones. The converter interfaces between the fiber infrastructure and copper ports on VoIP phones and also provides power to the IP phone.
